Sidney and Jenny Brown bequeathed the estate and the collections to the town of Baden to establish a public museum, which opened in 1990. A one-off sale of three of Paul Cezanne's paintings from the collection secured the preservation of the public museum in 2023. This volume tells the story of the unique museum and its rescue from the perspective of those involved.
